Halo 3 Tops Xbox Live Chart Again
Major Nelson has updated his blog showing the top 10 most played Xbox 360 games and after so long at the top with a few breaks because of Grand Theft Auto IV and Battlefield: Bad Company, Call of Duty 4 is no longer No. 1.

So Halo 3 hits top spot for the first time in what must be ages. The last time it was No 1 was just before the release of Call of Duty 4 which has been demoted to No. 2. Grand Theft Auto IV, Gears of War and Guitar Hero III make up the rest of the top 5.
The rise to No. 1 for Halo 3 must be coming after the announcement that Bungie’s new game was dropped at the 11th hour for MS’s Press Conference at E3 2008 to make way for Final Fantasy XIII. But Microsoft have said that a dedicated event will be hosted for the new game which Head of Xbox, Don Matterick, confirmed confirmed that the new Bungie game is indeed a new Halo.
