European Game Releases [22 - 26/09] (NOW INCLUDES DIGITAL DOWNLOADS!)

What’s out on disc and download this week? Let’s find out shall we?

Haven’t done this in a while so lets do it again shall we but with a twisted flavour…digital downloads.

So, lets get to it.

Retail: This week, it’s dominated by one game, Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway but there is also Pure and a track pack for Rock Band on the Wii…on CD.

There are too many games to list all of them so we’ll do the big ones and thats after the jump along with digital downloads.

Our Main Retail Games for September 26th 2008

Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway (PLAYSTATION , Xbox 360)
Pure (PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360)
Rock Band: Track Pack 1 (Nintendo Wii)
Samba de Amigo (Nintendo Wii)
de Blob (Nintendo Wii)

Digital: Well, on Monday, Mega Man 9 was released on WiiWare but it will also be released on Xbox Live Marketplace on Wednesday and PSN on Thursday.

As for this week’s XBLA game, ladies, aliens, lock up your homes, Duke Nukem 3D is coming to XBLA and he’s gonna kick ass, all for 800 MS Points of course.

Finally, on Thursday’s PS Store update, you dont just get a 2D title in MM9, you get 2 massive 3D games for the PS3, one of which on Blu-Ray…and the game isn’t from Sony. Sony are at long last releasing wipEout HD for £11.99 and EA as well as Criterion Games are releasing Burnout Paradise on the PS Store although it’s unconfirmed if it will hit the EU PS Store right now but considering Criterion said PS Store without a specfic region, we’ll take that as everywhere.

Oh, and our freebie of the week? Mirror’s Edge. The demo is being released on the PSN and XBLMP this Thursday and we’ll have a hands on impressions with the demo when possible.

Our Top Digital Downloads for the Week of September 22nd 2008

Mega Man 9 (Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3) [WiiWare, XBLA, PS Store]
