Elder Scrolls V in 2010, Fallout 4 in 2011

Bethesda Games have stated that they have penned in a target date for Elder Scrolls V for 2010 on the PC, Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3. If it meets the ’10 target, it would have been 4 years since the release of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

They state that their will be no Wii verison of the game and infact, the Wii is not part of Bethesda’s plans right now.

As Paul Oughton explains after the jump.

“At the moment we’ve got Fallout 3 for this year and potentially there’s a new Elder Scrolls title in 2010. At the moment we’re not that interested in the Wii. We’re going to stick to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. We’ll continue to pursue three or four titles a year and go for big titles,” he said of the company’s publishing plans for the future.”

But about the future after Fallout 3 and the new Elder Scrolls title? According to Reuters, it could be 2011 before we see Fallout 4 according to Todd Howard of Bethesda.

According to Reuters, Howard claims 3 years is all it could take between Fallout 3 and Fallout 4.

We’ll soon see.

What would you like to see in Elder Scrolls V?.

    Hmm, good question.

The core gameplay should remain in ES tradition, but with perhaps better, less stiff aiming. Minor fix-ups like that.

Would be cool to have it take place before the first game, during the time of the Ayleids. This could offer new character opportunities, and races to choose from like the dwarves, ayleids, nedes, early Breton, Reguard, and more.
