But maybe it’s not entirely dead if anything Free Radical has to say.

A weird press release has been issued by Nintendo concerning Kirby and all hints are pointing towards a new Kirby game being unveiled. While the platform is unknown, we can guess it’ll be the Nintendo Wii as of the fact that the Nintendo DS verison was announced a long time ago and that Nintendo would do this much hype for a Kirby game unless it was the Wii verison.

RUMOR: Bungie’s New Game at a Special MS Event Next Week But Is It Halo: Chronicles?

Posted in Xbox 360 with tags , , , , , , , , on September 17, 2008 by Jonathan Cullen

According to well places sources, gamer tm has said that a new Bungie game will be unveiled at a special MS event next week along with a new game from Rare as well as a price cut for the EU, the latter of which has now been confirmed by Microsoft to take place as of this Friday (That soon)

It’ll come on the week that Bungie released Halo 3 one year ago with Bungie announcing their seperation from Microsoft soon after.

And it may come in the wake of recent staff additions to Microsoft Games Studios for a new Halo game which is rumored to be the Peter Jackson Halo Project, Halo: Chronicles. As well as the recent shuffle at Microsoft Games Studios which sees Phil Spencer take from Shane Kim as Head of Microsoft Games Studios, the Director of Technology at Gearbox (The studfio behind Brothers in Arms as well as rumored to be behind Halo 4) Corrinne Yu and her husband, id’s Ken Scott were joining the Halo team at MGS.

Plus to add even more wood to the fire already, another new staff addition was rumored for the game in the shape of assistant producer of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Ryan Payton. Payton, who recently left Kojima Productions to personal issues, said that he was looking to work in the US because of family problems and it looks like he’s found the perfect job.

Kotaku tried to reach Microsoft for a response and while they did get one, it was the shape of “Microsoft do not respond to rumors as such blah blah blah”

Which means, knowing MS, it’s true.
