Remember Mistwalker Studios, you know, the studo created by Hironobu Sakaguchi after he left Square Enix? The studio that’s made Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey for the Xbox 360, but also had their last project Cry On cancelled?

Well, guess what, they’re baaack.

According to a new blog post on the Mistwalker website (this is according to rough translation, we should point out), they have a new project in production and have shown the game behind closed doors so far. We dont know anything else other then that, if anybody can translate it better then Google, be our guest.

E3? Bet on it. Xbox 360? Bet on it, if Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, but dont rule out the PS3. Release this year? Dont bet on it.

Their last project, Cry On, was cancelled on Christmas Day 2008.

Welcome to a brand new feature on GOONL!NE, known as GOONL!NE Live. It’s a feature which your you can be involved in. All you need to do is send an email to and tell us your name, where your from and what your top 10 most antcipated games are so far.

But there are rules:

  • The games must only be for PS3, 360 and Wii, GOONL!NE is a console site, remember?
  • All your lists will calculate for the entire chart. Example: Uncharted 2 has 4 votes but inFamous gets 5, therefore, inFamous would be higher then Uncharted 2. Geddit?
  • There will be seperate lists for all 3 platforms as well as an all-platform list
  • Multiplatform games are allowed on other charts, like Dead Rising 2 would be allowed in the PS3 and 360 charts asd well as all-platform chart
  • Games that have been released since the last charts will not be issued in the one after. For example, the May 2009 edition will have Prototype, but the June edition wont as Prototype will be out by the time the next Live is published
  • Games must also exist. For example, Final Fantasy XIII? Ding. Final Fantasy XIV? Nuh-uh.
  • DLC counts, but only if it’s substantial. So, Mythic Map Pack for Halo 3 example? No. But Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned or Fallout 3 DLC? That counts
  • Games must also be on specfic platforms. So, for example, Mass Effect 2 on the Xbox 360 charts? You know it, but on the PS3 chart? No go… till ME2 for the PS3 is eventually confirmed, whenever that maybe
  • Games that we know are coming, but not shown like Team ICO? That counts as a tiny bit of info has come out, but Shenume III? No way.

There will be 5 specfic lists in general to pick from. The all-platform chart, the PS3 chart, the 360 chart, the Wii chart and one more chart included is where we pick one specifc list emailed to us by a GOONL!NE reader to the email address above and publish it.

Anyways, to get the ball rolling, we have everything going after the jump with default lists.
